Oh Jeez, I love alsations (well, I love all dogs) and would love to have one - we always have rescue animals - but we have 5 cats, which as you say she's not keen on.
I hope she finds a good home; her late Mum or Dad obviously loved her very much, judging by the arrangements that were made for her.

Right , Dog is in London /Kent area ,female 8yrs old, good with children and other dogs, but not keen on cats.
Slightly arthritic + needs a pill a day, and is also on Hills Science Plan Diet
which can be expensive.
Her owner who died Monday 6th April had made arrangements for her to be looked after by the Cinnamon Trust www.cinnamon.org.uk
This is a charity who will pay all the vets bills if the dog had a foster carer.
and wanted to look after her as their own ,in their home.
Otherwise she will be taken to their kennels in Cornwall , which could be a bit traumatic for her .

I can recommend this organisation

http://www.germanshepherdrescue.co.uk/

Give them a ring and the dog will find the best possible home.
