how sweet is that! God bless her.

I have got loads of wool that my friend gave me, I must start finishing off the few dolls I have started - I just get too engrossed on here to do anything else and unfortunaely, I cannot type or knit with my toes! lol

tina

like my grandaughter i bet your neighbours little one loves that dolly and cuddles her lots,

i was looking for this half finished one here earlier, as ive been doing bitmore knitting her pinifore, and thought praps the dog had had it , but it was in babys toy cupboard,

she introduces her self to all toys, then says awe come yer, gives um a cwtch

I am sure it will be wonderful when it is finished and any child will love it to bits. I knit dolls, although have not done any for a while, and OH gave one of my old ones to our neighbour's child, I said, fancy giving her that old thing, but apparently she was as happy as anything - she did not see that it was an old doll, with its hat missing and hair not quite tidy - it was new to her.

We "arty" types are just too fussy! lol

the raggy doll i was making recently but got disheartend cos she didnt look quiet as good as the one made for baby using sewing and fabric,
well while at work the other day, grandaughter called in with her mam and found raggy doll , with out her face finished, no hair, no jumper,
and was rather put out,
she asked mammy wheres her eyes, and nose,
so ive now started to finish it,

as reluctuntly she was left here so she could be brought to life
