It was my grand daughter's 7th birthday on Monday.
My daughter bought her an unexpected present - a rabbit - he's a boy as that was all they could find.
Grand daughter has called him Jesus!! (as it's so close to Easter)
Well, so as not to offend anyone, this is now pronounced in the mexican way - Hey-soo - but it's still spelt the same - and daughter will have to get Jesus neutered soon!! LOL

My thought exactly, Claire.
daughter: 'This is 'Hey-soo'
vet: Can you spell that?
daughter: 'I'll let the owner (grand daughter) do that' LOL

She's too soft! When we had a roller canary (they're orange) daughter (about same age as grand daughter at the time)wanted to call it 'Orangey'.
'Hmmm 'says I - let's call him George - it's got nearly the same letters in it!!!!

pmsl Does the vet do what ours used to, call the animal with your surname, so Jesus Winchester lol
I think your granddaughter should make her Dad take the rabbit to the vet!

Liz - I certainly hope so!!!

Kitty - at least currant b*m is healthy in the 'lower end' LOL

Bobbie - 'shudders at the thought'. Maybe when he's had the op, they can just call him Soo - a la song by Johnny Cash!!!
