Just looked in my Mum's old address book, the address was Royal Clarence Yard, Gosport. If I remembers correctly, you went through some locked gates into a yard with several houses set in a circle with a pond in the middle. You could go straight down to a jetty, where my uncle and Dad went fishing. We were there when Mr Kruschev arrived from Russia. My mother would have been able to tell me more, but she died last May aged 98. |

Mac, the good old Gosport ferry, used to love going on it when l was younger, bet you wouldn't reconise Lee on Solent now, l've only just moved back to the area after 9 years away and went to Lee the other night , it has changed. |

My great uncle was in the Royal Marines/Dockyard Police and we used to go to stay with him and my great aunt in Clarence Yard at Gosport in the mid - late l950's. |
