Anyone know about fridge/freezers ?

My freezer is working but the fridge isn't working, the light comes on when you open the door but its not cold.

do you think its the thermostat and if so is it easy for me to get and replace a new one ?

I don't was to buy a new fridge/freezer if its going to cost me £20 for a new thermostat.

Sounds like therm to me.Have you turnrd the dial to check its not working?
I had same problem years ago, hubby bought another and fitted it, I was about £20.
A call out fee would cost you thoough.

Thanks Marion & Hayley

I have played about with the dial and unpluged it,left it for a few min then turned it back on,talked nicely to it and hit it with a hammer, and it still won't work.!

* Report's BM for fridge abuse*

Weigh it up anyway, what it would cost for a new one or if you had to get somebody out, depending on the age of it etc.
