Hi Elizabeth

No you're not cranky at all!

Hill Street Blues was fantastic and I sort of recall Big Deal (Ray something was the lead?)

I never missed an episode of the Water Margin - great action, good music but rubbish dubbing. Can still be found on cable but you need to search for it.

regards

ian

Dear All

Hope this message finds you well.

Does anyone remember real quality programmes from years ago, unlike some of the rubbish on the TV now. (I am getting cranky)

Some really good ones were:

"Big Deal" 1984
"The Onedin Line", I watched the last 2 series when I was little.

"Travelling Man" 1985, Leigh Lawson
"We'll meet again" 1982 with Susannah York

Cagney and Lacey" 1982-1988
"Due South"
"Hill Street Blues" 1981-1987

Would anyone else like to share their memories of favourite TV programmes?

Hope so.

Take care and best wishes.
