I am so sorry that you have just lost three of your pussies. I can't bear it when I lose any of mine, and I have done so much crying, over the years, when I have lost one of them.

It's a terrible thing, and breaks my heart. The thing is, I do know, every time a new puttins becomes part of my family, that the likelihood is that I will outlive them.

June, I've now lost 3 ... my two 'toms' were 11 and 12, my Jenny Jemima was almost 19. Twas only last year that I lost my darling little 'boy', just A left now, she's norti, waddles :)

I'm sure you gave them a wonderful life, June. Mine lived in Wales for eight years, and it was cats' paradise for them there, in the place that we lived. I've had to bring them back to a town in the home counties, now, and their territory and happy hunting grounds have been much curtailed. I feel a bit sad about that, sometimes, but I am aware that they are getting older now and maybe don't need to do so much roaming.

The place I'm living in has plenty of space, however, and cats just sometimes need somewhere where they can find lots of hidey holes, where they won't be disturbed.

Mine were 18 & 13yrs when they died & were both strays
so I hope I gave them a happy life ...

I am sad for you, Juneoftheroses, about that. Mine are my dearest companions, and I am so sorry that they growing old now, and I can only hope for them being with me as long as possible.

Dem puddy cats is being such good puddy cats, Stevie, lovely to hear from you. You and Shimms have pretty much made my day, just recently, and the laughs I had over the knobbly knees had to be heard to be believed.

I know that I have had a prezzie from Shimms that I am still not sure what it is, even after getting her pm. Have been wondering about it so much, as I noticed it last night, but didn't know how to open the package.

I'm such an old lady, these days, but never to old to learn new ways of communicating. I'm sure I am going to open the package, Stevie, with a bit of help.

So many permutations, though, and me just a silly girl. So I'm happy to hear back from either of you, by pm. No, I'm not a silly, silly girl - just not too sure that I have got it right.
