Thanks, I'm trying that.

She can make her own arrangements when she gets it, but at least I will be passing it on with active protyection in place.

My own internet security is Panda, which seems to work well, but the licence is specific to me, so I've had to uninstall it.

Try the Sunbelt firewall. Used to be Kerio, we found it very good, now pay for full AVG on 3 computers.

I am about to pass on my old computer to a relative (genetic connection Lol) and tried to download Zonealarm.
It would not install as i only have W2000 v5.0 and minimum requirement is apparently v5.5.

Is there another free firewall which can be recommended which would be compatible?
I have installed AVG, but need to add a firewall.
