Trying to remember the name of a film that was out a few years ago. I have a lousy memory and am trying to remember it.

I was watching Jane Eyre with the lovely Toby Stephens and Ruth Wilson and remembered that I'd been watching a film on an aeroplane a few years back which afterwards I thought I recognised the leading lady and afterwards came to the conclusion it was Ruth Wilson. However after checking imdb today, I must have been mistaken.

It is now niggling at me who the actress was but I cannot seem to remember the name of the film, the leading actor, the other actress (I had thought it may have been cameron diaz from memory but that was not the case) or really what the film was about. All I know it was American and not very good. I think it was set at a beach or a holiday resort, and the main character was pretending he didn't have a wife/girlfriend as he fell madly in love with this other woman. Bit of an impossible mission...can anyone help?

There's one like that with Ben Stiller called Heartbreak Kid.

Malin Akerman looks a bit like Cameron Diaz.

that's it but to be honest I'd never have remembered the name of the film. Therefore must have been Michelle Monaghan although I don't know who she is. She must have reminded me of Ruth Wilson a little in the film.
