Anais Nin:
We do not grow absolutely, chronologically. We grow sometimes in one dimension, and not in another; unevenly. We grow partially. We are relative. We are mature in one realm, childish in another. The past, present, and future mingle and pull us backward, forward, or fix us in the present. We are made up of layers, cells, constellations.

I went to see Dad this afternoon with my son. Dad seemed in good spirits. He has had all the monitors removed, thus able to walk a little and sit or stand as he wants. Yesterday they removed all the staples from his chest and the leg where they removed the vein. They are healing well.
He still has two more operations, one is to stabalise the rythmn, something to do with arythmia? That is at the top of his heart and medical not surgical. He still has to have the pacemaker/ defib too which will sit under the skin in his chest to kick his heart into normal beats when it goes too fast, I believe. He may have to return to Wexham Park for this to be done.
I saw Mum at the hospital, my nephew had taken her there. She seems well. Much more lucid and not so confused. She even comented on my new blue shoes and that before I had red ones....................... good memory, less signs of the dementia now her medication especially for the diabetes is more regulated.
Mum will probably be coming to stay about Tuesday next week, 21st April. My sister has to go back to teaching and I am home most of the time whilst looking after the children. Only out for less than an hour to take them to school morning and afternoon.
We are going to Devon to my sister in laws on Thursday and returning Sunday.

Enjoy your day whatever you do today

Regards Linda :o) XxX
