Guess the mars bars imported hence to extortionate price, on holiday in spain and greece if I fancy a chocolate 'fix; I tend to go for the more 'local' options, always remember milka (think thats it, pale purple packing) being one of the alternatives, being able to by a big bar of that for about the same as say a standard dairy milk bar.

Although depending where you buy a standard chocolate bar from in the UK they can be extortionate.

I am only across the ditch in Spain. Not sure that choc tastes better than dog food mmmmmmmm not that I have tried dog food lol but I have eaten chocolate.

Oh by the way you can buy cheaper plonk 45c a litre but its better for chips

Hi Uzzi, I think a normal sized mars bar in UK is about 45p................tastes better than a tin of dog food though.

You buy wine at 62c a litre?.......Over here, a half decent cheap plonk £4 a bottle or ¾ of a litre.

Thats it I'm emigrating!..........Aussie land here I come. lol

:o))

How much would/do you pay for chocolate.

It's not often I eat choccy but tonight I went to the shop and saw a mars bar ....nothing fancy like a giant one or extra duper one just a small mars bar and fancied the idea. Then I saw the price !!!!!

89cents for a tiddly thing not on your nelly nor my nelly.
Thats the price of a lg tin of dog food (lasts my 2 a couple of days) more than a litre of wine @ 62c it works out at 4 ciggies or the 10th of the cost of a meal out ( menu del dia )

Glad I don't do choc looking at the price of the others, which were dearer !!!

have to say the last time I had a mars bar it was one of those giant ones and cost 60+ pence.

What will you pay for choccy ?
