Carol... I would give ANYTHING to have those days back.

We once had three little boys in the back garden sleeping in a tent.
We left the patio doors open to allow them to use the toilet... or come in if they needed to...
We then thought, will they be safe? Will someone come and disturb or hurt them? etc. etc etc......
So we stayed up all night sitting in the armchairs in the dinning room.
MAD? No, You are not mad, you are a mummy.
Enjoy yourself.....;-0)

Are they girls or boys ?

Last time my daughters had a birthday sleepover there where about seven of them.........they took over the front room ( airbeds , sleeping bags etc etc ).......DVDs on until gawd knows what time and chocolate wrappers all over the place.

Have fun Carol..........sounds like your a good mad Mum : ))

Ah...memories!
We agreed for daughter's friend and her German exchange partner to stay for a sleepover when we too had a German student staying.
Before I knew, there were 6 English girls and their exchange partners bedded down in the living room.
All I asked was that they kept the exit doors free from clutter, for fire safety reasons. They had a great time, - perhaps not much sleep, but the German girls and the English friends all thanked me for letting them have a fun evening and I like to think they went back home with happy memories of a mad but enjoyable stay.

Carol,

speaking as a mum (of twin boys aged 14, and a daughter aged 6)

2 boys - it was Matty's 13th on Easter monday so the party is tonight!! Matty and Alan are downstairs as I write burning the cake!! The teens tonight are a mixture of both sexes. I've locked the conservatory door and hid the key - plantlings in progress in there and I don't want them lnocked over - they've put the gazebo up in the garden too - perhaps I should warn the neighbours!!!
lol

Get a good set of ear plugs.

My youngest daughter Kirsty will be 15 tomorrow and she is having a sleepover tomorrow night. If last year is anything to go by there will not be much sleeping done.

Good luck.
