Cameron Highlanders
I am trying to find out about my late husband`s g.father
he was stated to be in the Cameron Highlanders
is there anyway I can trace him with just that information?
I am assuming he may be Scottish, his daughter stated she was born in Glasgow, althougfh I have been unable to trace her birth there or in England.
The name I am searching for unfortunately is rather common, John Mitchell, so I guess I will have a long search in front of me!
I would appreciate any help on where I should start, thank you.
