After 10 years together my daughters partner has proposed and produces a diamond- bought all on his own. My daughter is ectastic and I and OH are over the moon. Wedding in 1 year. All systems go.

Sorry everyone , just recovered from the electric going off. I am in a whirl as she tells me loads of places are booked up but search goes on. Knowinh her it will be something different. All excited because this weekend is the dress search!! All a bit bitter sweet as my Mum ( in her 90's) wants to buy the dress foe her only grand daughter. She is in quite poor health and in her words '' might not make it'' I fear lots of tears!!.
