Hi can anyone help... I have a query about uploading Ged onto Ancestry

I have also put this on the tips board

I have downloaded a Ged from Genes, which I am now trying to put onto Ancestry does anyone know how long this takes. As I have a message from the Ancestry page... which says We have received the family tree.We are processing your file now...Your tree will be available shortly. It also says 0% complete... I tried uploading Ged about 3 hours ago...

Any ideas?
Many thanks

I cannot help, sorry.
At the moment I am not 'talking' to Ancestry.... I STILL cannot find my G.G.Grandfather.

Good luck with your quest.

Deanna,

Thanks for your reply...eventually my tree was uploaded on Ancestry after 4 hours of waiting...I didn't realise it took that long
Is you G G Grandfather difficult to find?
If you need another pair of eyes to look for him on Ancestry I'm happy to do so...as long if its for the uk.
