Does anyone remember the lists we used to have of all the names in alphabetical order?
I miss them now that things have all changed.
I used to be able to wander through the list to see if any new people had arrived who may just have been in my tree.
I know everyone must be quite used to the new site by now, but I am still not happy with it.
I still find it difficult in many areas.
Am I alone?

To me Deanna, there are still things that would have been better left alone. I am sure that the people writing the programmes do not do Family History research.

I agree Ann.
Many things should have been left alone.
This was a much better site when I first started about 5 years ago.

Island not that list.
We used to have an alphabetical list with all the names on the site in it.
We could look a name, pm the person whose tree it was and get an answer .. yes or no.
It was a good, quick scheme.
Also we had a way of clicking to see if we had already joined in a thread.
It saved us adding to , say a birthday thread, when we already had done so.
Little things but they make a difference.

No Jim, it really was a very easy way to search.
I think Johnathan has it.
I just remember how easy and even exciting it was.
