Oooh I am such a lucky things, spoilt rotten with, chocolates, flowers, slippers, six yummy cup cakes, made by the lady thats supplies The Only Way is Essex actors, and was late delivering them to my daughter as she got caught in traffic coming back from Essex, and a wonderful Grandma's Biscuit barrel from Lilly and Ava, as the call me Nanny biscuit.
Lucky lucky me, I love them all, and thank the lord I was blessed with such loving caring children.

Well, enjoy the rest of your special day, and I will speak to you later. Hugs Mo xxx

Mo, you certainly did well with pressies for Mothers Day. Did you and Roly go to play darts and to have lunch?

Jean thanks for asking, but, Alun still hasn't heard about when he has to go for the Echocardigram. GP did say that it would probably take four weeks for an appointment to come through.

We mostly use the Nottingham hospitals here, but he has to go to Derby for this..I can't understand why, because if he needs anything done, he can then go to one of the Nottingham hospitals.

Well will say goodnight now, Sleep well.

Love, Sallie. xxx

Just a quick message to let you know that I had a phone call earlier on, letting me know that Joyce died this morning. It was a shock, I know it is silly of me, but I almost thought that ' she. would go on forever'.

She went to the doctors last week as she couldn't breathe properly, but doctor told her she was okay.

Sending Jan my Condolences and Sympathy.

Rest in Peace, Joyce.

Hi Jean, yes it was a shock hearing about Joyce, I feel quite sad about her. Wherever and whenever we met, she was always good company, lots to say and always gave us a good laugh.

How are you and J doing? I hope that you are both okay. Also hope that D is enjoying her stay in Florida.

Alun has to go for his Echocardiogram on Saturday morning, his appointment is at ten o clock. I shall be glad when it is done so that we will at least know what the problem is, if there is one.

Mo. how are things with you and Roly? Hope that you are both okay. Did the men come and see to your windows as they promised? Hope they did.

Well I am off to finish a couple of cards now, so will chat again tomorrow.

Take care everyone.

Love, Sallie, xxx

Hello girls,
I am so shocked to read of the loss of Joyce. I went onto F.B and Jan and Joyces grandaughter, had posted about their loss on their loss.
I didn't know she had been unwell lately. She sent us such a lovely card for our Anniversary, and now she is gone, bless her.
Thank you Sallie for your p.m.
Rest in Peace Joyce, we will remember you with a smile on our faces, and love in our hearts.
My deepest condolences to Jan and Joyces family. x

Good evening everybody.

I would like to wish our Jean, all my very best wishes, and love and hugs for tomorrow, when she has her biopsy done.
I will be thinking of you my love, and praying for a good outcome for you.

Thank goodness all the work here has finished. A nice new extension roof, new guttering and fascia boards, wonderful.
Goodness me, it is so quiet now, after lots of banging and clattering, but it's all done now, and looks lovely.

Roly has got to have a knee replacement done in three months time, and his other knee has got to be injected, with what I don't know.
Bless him, his knees keep giving up on him, and a number of times he has nearly gone down.
He is not exactly a light weight, should I have to pick him up off the ground. I know I should have eaten more spinach when I was younger. LOL

I hope you are all keeping well. Take care, love to all, Mo xxx

Hi Mo, and everyone

it's raining heavily here :-)

but nothing like the 50+ cm of snow that my daughter had at her house in the Maritimes, from Tuesday night through yesterday

She snowshoed much of the way to the ferry terminal this morning so she could go to work. She said it was great snow shoeing on fresh snow .............. but it was tiring!

No transit services. I guess her OH got a snow day off school :-D

Oh goodness me Sylvia, 50 cm of snow, this country would have closed down completely. Well done on your daughter fighting her way through it all.
I hope the rain has ceased now where you are.
We have got beautiful sunshine here in Kent. In fact, I went out into the garden and did a bit of weeding this afternoon, because it was to nice to sit indoors, looking out at the suns rays.

Oh Jean, I can't believe you were sent away without anything being done. After your worrying yourself silly, it's not a nice feeling being let down like that.
Never mind my love, stay strong and don't the the Bu**ers get you down.

Have a lovely weekend my friends, hugs, Mo xxx

Hi everyone,

Elizabeth, lovely to see you, and thank you for your good wishes for the weekend.

I hope that you and your family will also have a peaceful and contended weekend too..

Jean, I can't believe that you haven't had the biopsy done today, after all the worrying about having it done the last few weeks. Now you have to go through with all that again.

Sylvia, that's a lot of snow, if we had that much here in the UK, the whole of the country will be at a standstill for goodness knows how long. Well done to your daughter for getting into work..

Mo, glad that all the work is now finished and that you and Roly are pleasded with it.

Richatd and Christie are having some work done in the flat and the men are starting the work tomorrow morning. It is being rewired and new electric central heating put in and all the walls are being re-plastered. It has needed doing for a good while, but had to wait until they could afford it, They had all new windows put in a couple of years ago.

Both Alun and myself have had colds this week, so we haven't been feeling too good. although we are starting to feel better now.

Alun is having an Echocardiogram tomorrow morning,he thought that they may not do it because of his cold, so he rang the hospital and spoke to someone in that department, they told him that he could have it done as having a cold isn't a problem.

Ann, hope that you and T are having a good week and that you are both okay.

Huia, hope that all is well with you and that you are not having anymore problems with the internet.

Marie, hope that you and your family are all okay.

Will say goodnight now and hope that you will all have a good nights sleep.

Love, Sallie. xxx

Sallie, I think this problem with the internet is permanent unless I throw away the medical alarm, but I dont want to do that, so I just put up with the problem.

Hi All

We got home yesterday at 1.30 pm, good journey no hold ups about three and a half hours travelling.

We had a really good week, enjoyed revisiting gardens and scenery and, as you cans ee on my bird thread on hobbies board, we had lots of birds visiting us at the apartment which was in glorious parkland with lots of trees. We also had squirrels and rabbits.

Took quite a few photos but not downloaded them yet. Tried to take some of the birds on the patio but theyw ere not very good at posing.

Trying to get back into routine now, one lot of washing done, dried and ironed, second lot in the machine now. Grocery shop done. got to start thinking about the next one now which is only about two weeks time 'Eeek!' Spain for two weeks with daughter as well.

Sorry they messed you around re the biopsy Jean, did they say why they didn't do it in the end. More waiting around for you now.

Sallie hope Alun's echocardiogram went ok, did they actually do it on a Sunday?

Mo Have you actually had your hand diagnosed as arthritis?

Huia, I am sure that you will be thinking of Phil on your anniversary and remembering all the good times before he was ill <3 <3

Mo in Kent Report 23 Mar 2015 18:53

Goodness me Ann, you and T are little gad abouts. Was there any point, (apart from doing the washing) in your unpacking your suitcases, when you will be orft again soon, lucky girl.
Will take a look at your photo's shortly.
I have not seen the doctor about my hand, I am assuming it's my osteo arthritus affecting my joints. I don't think it's carpal tunnel problems, as it gets worse when it's colder, so it sounds like good old arther playing me up.
I probably should see the doctor, but I don't want to take up an appointment that someone with an emergency needs it.

Sallie, how did Alun get on at his echo cardiogramme. I hope it was a favourable result, and is treatable with medication.

Bye for now dear friends, take care. Mo xxx
