My goodness we have been slipping down the pages haven't we, thanks for the booster Ann.
Time seems to fly by.
The clocks go back very soon, so it's going to be darker in the mornings, so perhaps then I can lay in bed longer, instead of waking up as soon as the birds start singing their little heads off.
O.k, come on admit it, how many of us are watching strictly. There are some really good dancers on this year, but also one or two not so good. I will give Ed Balls credit where it's due, he is so different to how he appears on the surface, and he is really enjoying himself, he is not the best, but he puts so much into it. And hey, he has just got through this weeks dance offs, aaah bless him.
Take care all, love and hugs Mo xxx

Mo, yes, watching it, love it, not sure of the result tonight though, I think there were worst dancers.

Mo in Kent Report 10 Oct 2016 18:11

Yes Ann I agree about the results of the dancing. x

JustJean Report 11 Oct 2016 10:09

Just read in the paper that there are to many good dancers and not enough firstime and clodhoppers in now which are more entertaing, think I agree with that ;-) ;-) ;-)
how do you choose now methinks it may be time for a shake up... x

AnninGlos Report 18 Oct 2016 12:45

I think this week's results were probably right, Naga didn't impress me at all and Brendan and Anastacia were better.

We were slip sliding away again so I scouted down the boards to find us.

T has had an aching shoulder for 8 weeks and finally got a doctors appointment yesterday. (phoned up in the morning, appointment in the afternoon.) The doctor thinks it is possibly a frozen shoulder which could take quite a while to improve. He saw that T had not had a blood test for ages so he had one this morning! He also said his BP is higher than he would like (I see medication coming!!) which is a new one as his BP has always been good, but I suspect it may be pain sending it up. He also had to phone for an Xray to rule out any arthritis. Xray this afternoon.

Hello girls,
Thank goodness this week is nearly over, we have attended two funerals, oh so very sad days.
Our Lilly has had her assessment done, and she is suffering from ADHD and AUTISM.
She has now got to see a specialist, who will decide if she should be given medication to calm her down or not.
This afternoon. we visited her at her dads, and she was so hyper it was unbelievable.
When we asked her what she had done at school today, she couldn't remember doing anything, apart from playing with her friends.
I was praying that what we had seen over the last few years, was in our imagination, and that she was just an excitable little girl, but no such luck. It will NEVER change our love for her though.

I do hope everyone is well, take care all, speak to you soon.x

Aaw Mo, we do feel for the children in our families and it is sad that it has taken so long for poor Lilly to be diagnosed. I suspect you will love her all the more for ot bless her. <3

AnninGlos Report 4 Nov 2016 12:42

Looks like I have been talking to myself for a couple of weeks. Mo, Jean, Sallie and anyone else, hope you are all ok.

we still haven't had any rain and we are having to water the pansies we have in pots and baskets. Yesterday it was very cold here but dry and part sun, the day before was sunny, today it is back to being grey and damp.

OH had a cortisone injection in his shoulder this morning. He was not looking forward to it having had one in his slbow some years ago, however, he said he hardly felt this one. Let's hope it helps the shoulder get better. I will be glad when he can play golf again. :-D :-D :-D At the moment he is giving the lawn a last cut.

Mo in Kent Report 4 Nov 2016 15:58

Oh Ann, would you like some of our rain, as it's coming down in bucket's at the moment.
Sorry to have been missing for a while, but what with one thing and another, I keep forgetting to look in.

Wednesday, I had my colonoscopy done. Good grief, the last time it was done, the scope broke down half way through, this time, I was taken down at 9.20 and returned at 11.00. Lord above, I thought I was going through something weeird and kinky. They had me in every position possible, on both sides my back and my front. They couldn't get the scope through. Good grief, I know I can be a bit twisted sometimes in my speech and thoughts, but this was way to crazy, and painful for me. It turns out I have got what they call a LOOPY COLON, but apart from that all is well. No more polyps thank the lord.
So it looks like I have got to put up with the discomfort, unless my doctor decides otherwise.

I do hope that Jean, Sallie,Sylvia, and Marie, Huia and all our other friends are well, and look in sometimes. I send you all my very best wishes, hugs Mo xxx

AnninGlos Report 4 Nov 2016 16:46

Ooh Mo, not a lot of fun though? So do we call you 'loopy' now then? Not nice to have to go through though, I bet it left you feeling bruised and sore. Good that there are no polyps then.
Good to see somebody other than me posting on here.

Huia

Huia Report 4 Nov 2016 19:39

I am still in the land of the living but so swamped with things to do. New things keep cropping up and I want to say 'stop the world I want to get off'. But that would never get things done.

One of the women at work keeps bringing me some colour photos which she asks if I can print, with a better colour. Some of them are very rosy (late afternoon sun) so I have to scan it and adjust the colour balance, but I am quite pleased with the result.

Must get on with today's work. :-(

Huia

Huia Report 4 Nov 2016 19:41

OOOH, I see GR has put a tiny poppy up top.

Mo in Kent

Mo in Kent Report 5 Nov 2016 19:58

Yes Huia, we are honoured by them putting the Poppy up, but then they should honour out brave hero's.
It sounds like you are being kept very busy, people know how good you are your photography, and are grateful for your help.
I wish I had your skills, I just tend to snap away at whatever takes my fancy, and nine out of ten times, they are out of focus. lol

Ann, you can call me Loopy I don't mind, just as long as you still talk to me.
Yes my poor BTM, is still very tender, but is improving daily, thank you.
Oh wow, we are watching Strictly, and the Argentine Tango has just been done,to perfection in my eyes. Louise is getting wonderful comeback, lets hope the results are as good the spoken word, oh good 39 point's.

I do hope our Jean and Sallie are o.k, as we have not seen them fr a while now.
Also our Sylvia, has anyone seen her posting lately, we do miss her dont we.
Take care all, hugs Mo xxx

AnninGlos Report 5 Nov 2016 20:19

Sylvia. Has been around on other threads Mo.
Hope your sore b*m is better soon.

Yes that Argentine tango was great, breathtaking. I liked Danny Mac as well. Mmm! Well one can dream! :-D

AnninGlos

AnninGlos Report 6 Nov 2016 09:38

But we still like to hear from each other on the long running threads like this. As long as we hear occasionally we know we are all ok, like with friends in the real world. Things are still happening in our lives that we can share.

SylviaInCanada

SylviaInCanada Report 6 Nov 2016 17:51

I know!

Actually, our lives are very boring at the moment ........

....... although OH did go to Ottawa on Thursday morning and returned on Friday evening. He went for a retirement dinner for a long-time friend.

I stayed home, and immersed myself in the new GRO digitised records on Friday.

That's basically it

Mo in Kent Report 6 Nov 2016 18:41

Oooh good to hear from you Sylvia. I gave up my quest looking for relations some time ago, and like you, just pop on here occasionally to see how our Cyber friends are doing.

Ann, I know what you mean about Danny Mac, he's very cute. I also like Ore, at least I think that's how you spell his name, he is very versatile in his dancing abilities.
Nearly time for the results now Ann, so I will say cheerio to you both.
