I have an Albert Poole in my tree born 1889 searching trees on here there seems to be 14 Albert Poole born in 1889 when you look at free bmd there are only 8 born that year which makes me think that there are a lot not gone to the GRO.

Margaret,

I have come across that very same problem, I wonder if peeps go by the census age rather than actually finding them in the BMD first. ?

It would narrow things down a lot.
