I don't usually buy sandwiches because I don't get out much these days aaaagh. Also they don't usually taste of much and you are better off going without.

For the second time, coming home late from a job,I have been into a garage and bought a Ginster's egg and rocket sandwich and they are delicious, better than I could make.

They taste really expensive.Wholemeal bread and just a little white pepper, everything balances.

Oh dear, waxing lyrical over a sandwich.Poor old trout!

Bless you Sharron, it's nice you enjoyed your sandwich and didn't have to make it for yourself. I usually grudge the cost of shop bought sarnies tho unless they are on the reduced shelf, lol, I think of all the extra sarnies I could have if I had spent the same amount and made them myself. Explains why I look more like a dumpling than a sandwich lol

I blame you for this, I just had to visit the fridge and filled a slice of Bergen bread with soya and linseed, with garlic mayo and smoked salmon, shavings!

Lindsey, it used to be awful on a Saturday night/Sunday morning when Errol used to come on here and tell us what he was having to eat after coming in from working in a pub! The thread never failed to make me peckish and having to go off and make myself something tasty to eat lol

Anyone heard from Errol, not seen hide nor hair for a long time.
