I can only tell you that the Aberdeen was NOT a Convict ship and she was only used to transport assisted ,and unassisted emigrants.
I have her down in my records in 1886 arriving in nsw with an ancester of mine on board.

Hi... I am trying to help a friend research her Family Tree and I am wondering if anyone could tell me anything about the boat the Aberdeen which arrived Australia 1st November 1884.. My friends ancestors were the Hodge family that left England bound for Australia as Assisted Immigrants... I have information on the family through Census and so on but would like to know more about the Aberdeen... Maybe there is a passenger list as well with the Hodge family names mentioned...
