Winter Drawers Ever Near

Winter Drawers Ever Near Report 19 Apr 2009 22:04

My most loveliest of peeps is going to get bad news tomorrow from the surgeon.

I know the results already and they are very bad.

How do I go there tomorrow night after he has been given the bad news and try to say something to comfort him.

The illness is advanced so he hasn't got too long. I just am so worried I for once, me with the gob almighty, can'tfind the words to give him hope.

I don't know what to do.

Sometimes Aileen, just being there and holding their hand will be enough.

My very best wishes to you and your friend.

Will be thinking of you tomorrow Aileen. Like the others say, I'm sure that the right words will come out at the right time, but if they really don't, I'm sure that a hug will do the job just as well.

Love to you and to your friend too.

Aileen, I am sure you will know instinctively how to cope when you get to see your friend, try not to say too much until he lets things out first perhaps so you can judge things from his demeanour/attitude. I am sure a hug or a touch on the hand will help, whatever suits him best.
I hope he will have all the help needed to have a gentle passing when the time comes and to prepare anything that needs sorting out , soon.

Bless him, and wishing you strength,
Lizxx
