It is a beautiful sunny morning.

The flu has finally moved on and except for a slight cough I feel human again. I think that next year I shall have the flu shots as this is two years in a row that it has attacked me, never used to before.

It's Monday morning and my house looks like it's been hit by a bomb and the last thing I feel like doing today is housework and it aint gonna clean itself.

Three males in the house and not one of them will wash a dish or dry a cup as the dishwasher packed up and it's in for repairs.

Hope you all have a lovely day!

Hi Lindy not spoken before but I would just wash my own cup and plate and if they want drinks or feeding put it in used cups/plates.

Hope you have a nice relaxing day in recovery.

Liindy, glad you are feeling better. Time to tell your men that this is 2009 even in Portugal and that you need help with the crockery they use or there wont be any plates etc to put their food on!!!

Have a restful day, you don't want a relapse.

Thank you Frances,

Lol..I would just love to go on strike and let them fend for themselves, if our home was not on the market. At any given moment one of the estate agents could give me a call and with only a couple of hours notice. I would have to have the house all nice and tidy for viewing.

The kitchen is tidy, my bed made and laundry in the washing machine.

Thank you Ann,

Hope you had an enjoyable stay in Rome.

The only time any of the males ever listen to me is when I get angry which I try not to anymore because I wind myself up into an anxiety attack. OH does help with the cooking on weekends but is also allergic to the washing up.

Oops Ann,

Apologies, it's me that's confused, I thought that you were going to Italy somewhere. Rome came to mind for some rhyme or reason.
