Does anyone else have songs where the intro just makes you go-oh wow that's fantastic. (even if the rest of the song is dire-lol)

I'd have Baker Street by Gerry Rafferty, especially on sunny days :)

Ooooooh Eeyore, that is my very favourite.......I love the music and lyrics......and was just talking about the lyrics with a pal at the weekend.....

......she was saying that London is so interesting but so fast and busy and people do not have time.......whereas where she comes from you can walk into town and see so many people she knows.....

......and I quoted the lyrics.....

This City desert makes me feel so cold,
So much rhythm, but its got no soul.....

Every time I go up town and am around Baker Street, this song goes through my mind.......although I always manage to strike up conversations on the tube with different people, very interesting mostly.....

......so the short answer is........Baker Street by Gerry Rafferty.....

Another that makes me reach for the volume is 'It's my life' by Bon Jovi (among many others lol)
