Dear Sirs I am encountering such a problem minute by minute on GR, finding myself:

1. Logged out when trying to enter a thread

2. 'Travelling' all over the boards except to the one I require.

3. Problems entering threads, submitting a reply and more. I enter using Firefox which I am aware GR recommend. GR also seems to think that my real name is Shimms has just a likkle bit of Mistletoe, will not allow me to change it to my real name or just my initials.

I should also like to raise the subject of threads being whooshed as I have witnessed the pain of those who's threads are so kind and caring, who have not whooshed them as the thread owner, entering to find them gone. I too have suffered this: Shimms Pad and What's it like to meet up with an adopted Sibling? Both ran for one year, were full of harmony, the latter put up by me when I received a hotmatch, found a long-lost sibling. So many came to this thread, needing support, help, advice, firm friendships were made and many ... not only siblings but children and other family members were found. There was not a horrid word on either, I as the thread owner did not whoosh them. One of the most horrid things was entering Shimmer's Pad to find every post whooshed yet our names remaining.

I thank you in anticipation of your response together with a reason for the whooshing of my threads. No-one ever complained, I am friends with all, therefore I cannot comprehend why ... in addition, they were not in the high thousands of posts.

Yours sincerely ............. (Mrs)

NB: Experiencing problems submitting my letter, reading the words Happy Genes ... sadly not very happy at this moment in time as I have found myself persevering for over half-an-hour trying to send this to you.

edit

Tis now one hour, have seen Unexpected Error, Whoops Error and more. Others are experiencing the same problems and more.

Thanks Mummo, me too. :)) xxx

Oh Mau, isn't it just. I finally saw something that said GR were carrying out maintenance repairs, it would be so much easier if they were put up a thread on each board advising us of same. xxx

Other companies offer compensation ... I shall say no more on that subject.

I worry about those who for whatever reason are unable to go outside, cannot either read or speak to their friends, tis perhaps they're only company.

Well done Shimms,

I to messaged GR about *Jeans introduction thread* being whooshed that one was very innocent thread if ever there was one....

But sadly they tell me someone complained .but I think I was being fobbed off as I read that almost every day and never saw anything right up to the last day that was offensive in any way ....mind boggles !
Jeans is away ,so she will be upset.

Something is definitely changing on here.

Hi everyone

Can't stop, am meant to be getting ready to go out, thank you for speaking here.

Marilyn, I so understand ... everyone seems to get the same message, I feel tis a computerised one, that the personal 'touch' has gone.

Do hope that they resolve this by the time I get back, that you are all able to enter without any more problems.

>>> sits down, thinks, Oh GR ... you are priceless, absolutely priceless so you are!

Do you know, I have just received a reply from GR basically ignoring everything I had written and ...

wait for this ...

telling me to how to use Internet Explorer 7, explaining about Cookies, adverts and more.

1. Must be confused, am sure they were carrying out site maintenance.

2. Did I not enquire as to whoosed threads

3. I did state that I use Firefox, as they as always recommend.

and possibly more.

Hey ho, I shall re-send it referring them to my original questions.

Have a good day everyone :))
