I was just wondering if I am doing something wrong. I send off my Hot Match requests and no one replies.
Am I doing something wrong or has my name been blacklisted or something. My Tree has come to a bit of a halt because I cannot find any information.
Any ideas please, anyone.

I can only imagine that those people are not interested in the particular matches to which you respond. I always reply if someone contacts me, even if only to say we have no link. Can't you proceed with your tree by other means ie census, IGI etc? Good luck.

Do you write a message yourself to each hotmatch contact or use the auto message?

I ask as I sometimes receive a request to view my tree message with nothing to say why or who they think we may have in common.................I must admit I don't reply to those as I assume it is sent to me in error.

Hello Christopher,

Don't give up. It could be that the people who you are trying to link with are now no longer a member of the site, but their names are still on the Genes records.

Good luck
