I want to send a walker/shopper to my aunt (from Norfolk to Somerset). The walker was my mils but she died very shortly after we bought it and its been in our garage ever since. Auntie has now had several ops and could do with it to get out to the local village shop. |

Have you tried taking it to the post office and getting a quote from them? |

I was going to suggest finding somebody who want to earn a few pounds and arranging it privately. |

Hi heather, hubby has suggested you use any of the over night couriers, we use parcel force or city link, you may have to take it to one of there depots to make it a bit cheaper, but what ever we send it usually is no more than £6-7 |

Sorted, thank gawd. Took the box off, left it in a sort of thick nylon weave sack with some bubble wrap. Took it into little local post office expecting them to say couldnt send it like that. They weighed it and charged £12.99 for 48 hour delivery - phew! |
