Dee how lovely that you have met up with and shared a time with your sister. It's sad when sisters lose touch.
It sounds that whatever kept you apart is sorted and you have more info to play with.

*Wonders if I should be jealous lol *

Enjoy and arrange that next day with Sis

~~ waves to all :))

Oh Dee

I am so smiling and indeed, what a WOW day, spending such precious time, catching up with your sis after two-and-a-half years, I am so so pleased for you, can feel your happiness. O)))

I know how much I enjoy the company of my sisters. I call them all sisters, although ... tis a complicated and complex story ... I have half-sibling on either side of my parents, the joy ... exhilaration, sheer happiness of finding one long-lost adopted half-sister last year and spending two whole days in her company ... well, I don't have the words to describe how I felt.

No wonder you're dancing for joy, and long may it continue my friend, I do so hope that you will be able to see her more often from now on.

You have so brightened my morning, thank you my friend.:))

That is a lovely way to spend time together...... I know how much I enjoy seeing my Sis again, and then our daily contact by email.....

....and excitement of finding information that will give an idea of how our forebears lived, and the waiting for the certs. to come..... have fun....

Hi Dee, glad you had such a good time and hope you can do it more often, and get out and about, hint hint lol

I rarely look on Chat as I am more used to spending time on general so missed you earlier on.

Enjoy getting those certificates when you've ordered them.

On Wednesday, I met my sister, who I haven't seen for 2 and a half years. We mooched around the churchyard where our family came from, what a great afternoon! Seeing my sister, finding unexpected graves and getting help from the Church Warden to find some graves. It's given me some more leads, I've got to order some more certs! But Wow what a lovely day. If I could do that once a month, I'd be on a high all year!

Looks like I'm on my own here!
