Holly is now on her 60th day of chemotherapy. She has another few more weeks to go. Its cyclical, 3/4 days of chemo followed by 1/2 days of rehydration then home for the rest of each 10 days.

I spoke to her Mammy today and she is doing well, the next stage is stem cell therapy and apparently very uncomfortable.

I have posted this over on Gen but thought I would add over here too!

A friends 16month old has been diagnosed with neuroblastoma. We now know that she has stage 4 and has only been given a 30% chance of survival.

She has 4 tumours. The primary is on her adrenal gland and the 3 secondaries are in her brain. They tried to sugically remove the adrenal tumour but therewere too many blood vessels attached to it so she is now undergoing chemo.
She has completed her 4th session and is doing well by all accounts.

She now has a web page so if anyone would like to add meesages of support please do and please pass on the word.

This particular type of cancer is only found in very young children and is particularly nasty.
