have to renew driving lience it,s gone up to £20 also have to fork out for new photo they dont even supply a prepaid envelope . ripoff or what!

Driver Knowledge Test $36 each attempt
Driving Test $44 (inc. GST) each attempt
Riding Test $44 (inc. GST) each attempt
Hazard Perception Test $36 each attempt
Driver Qualification Test $36 each attempt
Application for Exemption - Peer passenger, one passenger or prohibited vehicle condition $25
Replacement Exemption Letter (lost/stolen/destroyed) $11

Unrestricted Driver licence (Gold) & National Heavy Vehicle Driver licence (Magenta) $46 for 1 year, $108 for 3 years, $145 for 5 years

Yep, Gordy and his stealthy taxing.

And you have to renew your photo after 10 years, and pay another £20, or whatever it will have gone upo to by then.....!

i will have to change it again in 2012 thats if i can afford it the way thing,s are going. i think not!

I still have a paper one and resented having to get that,I liked the little red books we had before.

if you do have to renew your licence and also have a full motorcycle entitlement make sure you keep copies of both sides of the card. There has been many cards coming back without the correct entitlements and people have all sorts of problems getting it sorted. Luckily my hubby's came back ok but we were a bit anxious for a while.
