Just to let all you kind people who gave me so much positive thoughts for my sister in Canada ,She is Home ,Yippee.!!!! She admits she has a problem with the stairs at the mo ,guess its balance problems. The house is split level on three floors cos its built on a hillside plot ,you go in the front door and there is a 3rd bedroom and en suite on that level .then you climb a lovely sweeping "gone with wind" type staircase to the first floor that has the main living rooms, kitchen, bathroom and master bedroom/ensuite ,and has access out to the back garden that is on the same level. The second bedroom with en suite is on the top level
She has her study in the lower bedroom and thats where the PC is .SO she wont be online till she feels confident with the stairs, I am going to ring her on Sunday and hopefully have a good chinwag.

SHIRLEY. SO GLAD TO HEAR YOUR GOOD NEWS THAT YOUR SISTER IS AT LONG LAST BACK HOME.

HER HOUSE SOUNDS LOVELY, AND SO VERY MUCH GONE WITH THE WIND STYLE. NOT THAT I'VE EVER SEEN THE FILM THOUGH.

HOPE SHE CONTINUES TO MAKE PROGRESS

Bet that phone call will get a bit 'teary' Shirley but won't it be great to talk with her again? I do hope she continues to recover well and soon be back online again and managing the stairs without much effort.

Well news I didnt think I would hear .!! Sis went to the Hospital on Wed and her Neurosurgeon is very pleased with her She 98% there AND she can start driving again and can return to work for two half days a week and gradually build that up to full time over the next 4 months. She mustn't bend over or pick heavy things up as this will affect her blood pressure but apart from that she must still take things easy for a while. She will return to the Hospital in 4 months and then all still being well will be seen 1 year later.
I really didnt think she would ever be allowed to drive again let alone go back to work.

What fantastic news Shirley. I can remember how worried and upset you were when you first posted about your sister on here.

Thank you for taking the trouble to give us the good news....so often people don't think to do that.

I do love a happy ending :)
