thank you everyone for your good wishes :-)

we completed the course - as did everyone else - although I was not happy to discover that it was virtually all uphill! I never realised that Walthamstow was set so low compared to the surrounding areas!

110 registered walkers, probably another 50 who did it without registering, just to support the others. Lovely weather, warm sun on and off with a cool refreshing breeze. One of the best cups of tea I've ever had was waiting at Haven House when we arrived :-)

Thank you to everyone who sponsored us or wished us well - both are equally appreciated!
