Anyone help please, I have just realised I have more information on my GR tree than my FH programm. will I have to delete info from Legacy before I import a Gedcom from Genes or will it just over ride all the info. I don't want to end up with a load of duplicates.
Thanks Gill

Will legacy allow you to set up a new tree in addition to your exisiting one, so you can import and merge both tree's, I know I can do this on Family Tree Maker.

Once you are happy the new trees right you can delete the two old trees, I though personally tend to keep the GEDCOM files for old tree's on my computer as back up.

Thanks PME,
Truth is I don't know I will go and have a look, never done anything like this before but I don't fancy adding over 200 names manually.
