Dear All

Just wanted to wish all who are taking part in the London Marathon the very best of luck.

And a big thank you to the organisers and volunteers who make the whole event go smoothly.

Take care of yourselves.

Rather them than me, was never keen on running and can't even walk far now.

Anyone see the disabled serviceman, Major Phil Packer, who will be doing the marathon in stages. After being injured whilst on active service, he was told he would never walk again, he has already done a rowing challenge earlier in the year and will be doing the marathon today even tho he only started walking again a short time ago. He has to use crutches and walks very slowly, I think he is going to be doing an hour each morning and again afternoon for two weeks or something to raise money for Help for Heroes.

Have a look on his site, his courage will astound you, so many brave people doing the marathon to help others, when they themselves have had dreadful things thrown at them in their lives.

Good luck to them all,

Lizx
