Yes after a long wait my great uncle WW2 RAF service record arrived on Saturday, now i've the the job trying to work out what it all means. |

coming together now, didn't realise how much trainning was given, he joined up 14/8/41 5 months in recruit centers, 3 month @ radio school, then the aircrew selection board, back to radio school, then on to air gunner trainning 3 months, 3 months at convervsion units it was oct 1943 before his first bombing raid, changed Squdrons in Nov 1943, killed in action 15/1/1944 over Germany. |

He lost 2 brothers in the first war, so out 5 sons me g grandad had 3 was KIA, now that was sad, 3 branches cut of me tree before the grew. |
