From our local newspaper:


Norfolk-born star Myleene Klass is being lined up for top morning TV show.

Phillip Schofield has told This Morning bosses he believes the 31-year-old Gorleston singer and presenter would be the ideal co-host to boost ratings when Fern Britton leaves in July, according to reports.

An ITV source said: “Phillip thinks Myleene is perfect for the job and has made sure his voice is heard.

“He thinks she's got the right combination of talent, personality and looks that would endear her to, rather than alienate her from, viewers.”

Thats funny, I've just been reading the Mirror online....It said that Myleen and Christine (from The One Show) were not in the running as they were too expensive.. Fiona Phillips and Coleen Nolan were possibilities.

Wasn't Fiona recently on Loose Woman?..I didn't see it myself but I heared that she was not very popular with the viewers because they found her too 'Shouty' and they didn't like her manerisms... I find Myleen Klass's style of presenting (she was never off the tv or radio last year) to be very 'shouty'..what do others think?

I agree Bella Donna ,i think if Fiona Phillips takes the job alot of viewers will stop switching on and Mylene Klass ,fed up of seeing her ,Collen would be a lot better at least she has a sense of humour

I think that Coleen or someone else in her age group with a bubbly personality would be more appropriate for This Morning. Myleen, who presented 10 years younger would probably be seen as a little too glamouros and an unrealistic choice to relate to the 'This Morning' viewers.
