Ah - the revenge of the parent!!
There was a time when I may have had to look after my grandchildren when their mother (my daughter ) gets married in August.
I was prepared to remain sober, but both daughter and future SIL said it would be a shame as they would then have to provide a floorshow!!!

Our phone rang late one night when we were in bed watching tv, and it was our younger son on his mobile from the next bedroom, saying could we turn it down, as he couldn't sleep.

er no dear and when I,m away for a fortnight you can pay the bills,

My son used to moan at paying £20 per week until he got his own house....stuck it out for 8 months then came back.....One Day...One Day...Lol

When ur 17 year old daughter asks you 'What time do you call this' as you get home and then comes down and shouts at you ' Can't you keep the noise down I'm trying to sleep'.....Lol
