it started in mexico ....with a little lad called Edga....hes better now ......

But they found a granny who said her grand daughter died days before ....and they didnt know what was wrong with her ..she was only days old .........

There is a pig farm near by which the BBC couldnt get into

Read in the news that its a similar strain as the 1918 outbreak. This was brought to Europe by US soldiers and only got the name Spanish Flu when a member of the Spanish Royal family caught it.
Seems to be a particular strain from the American Continent. Dont know how much is fact/fiction but thats what I read in yesterdays papers.

suzian you may have the answer there!

This strain is thought to be a hybrid (or should that be tribred?) of swine + bird + human flu ... so those flying pigs could be to blame!

What gets me is when the media in the shape of TV news is actually bubbliing with excitement when they can report a confirmed case.
