I found it rather "disturbing" on one news report where they had someone from the Armed Forces saying how many new recruits they were getting because of the Economic downturn.
I guess someone will have to invent a whole new War :(

I suspect it is only because the lads are needed in Afgan - another needless and pointless war.
I welcome the day when Blair and Bush are finally hauled before the courts on war crimes charges.

Igor I watched it yesterday on the news....and I wont watch the news I did feel a great amount of relief for our lads/ladies and their family....just wish they would do the same with Afganistan...

At long last we are pulling our troops out of iraq, and handing control to the americans .
Please spare a thought in your busy lives to the men and women killed in a needless conflict and also to those now serving in Afghanistan and be proud of them
