As a huge ER fan, I have watched it since the very first episode some 14years ago, many of you may know that in this current final series they are bringing back former charecters, and this Thursday ladies Dr Doug Ross {George himself} is back.........so book your seat in front of the TV, don`t let OH have the remote, 9.00pm on More 4........sit back and enjoy, it should be good, in my opinion George always looked his best as Dr Ross...........

It will be the highlight of my week! lol Sad isn't it! Have also watched it from day one and will really miss it. A gallon of Baileys on ice I think....BC XX.

Hey Buttercup and DET....got a spare glass for me?........ yes I will really miss ER when it finishes, watched many of the repeats over last summer on channel 4 ,they ran about 2 series worth over a few months and i managed to catch most of them......i can see when it all ends The Complete Box Set will be on my Xmas list. I`m allways amazed that they mange to keep it all so fresh after such a long time, and so many episodes end SO poigniantly, it leaves you feeling quite raw..........

Looking forward to Thursday, but i`m worried about Carter, what if he dosn`t get his kidney transpalnt????

You have a better memory than me DET..........Yes I`m sure Carter was in the first episode, but had forgotten about the leg in plaster bit.....he was such a fresh faced young boy in those days, who`d have thought he`d end up a gorgeous as he is now............

I`ve got a feeling they may kill off a few of the charecters by the end of the series....... otherwise it leaves too many loose ends.........

what a dilemma ......do you have SKY+ or like us an old fashioned VCR....?? at least then you could watch one and record one.......

Afternoon all ER nerds:-) The first episode I remember was Juliana Margolis (sp?) being stretchered in with suspected overdose cos George had done the dirty on her....tsk tsk...I thought Carter came later on? It is all hazy now but has been a long time:-)) BC

Hi all you ER fans, well can you believe I've never watched it ooh!!........but I do like George...a LOT :O)

* SHOCKED! Mau...you never watched ER???? Will have to buy you the dvds for Christmas:-)

You can watch ER The First Episode..11 minutes of it on You Tube, DET...and lucky for me, have just got a nice Sky thingy package where I can record and sing and dance and stuff....lol.

You're in a state of shock BC? ..George is coming over with his doctor's kit,he'll make sure everything's okay for you ;O) and don't forget to say ahhh... XX

Remeber an episode with Juliana Margolis...{SP}. { lets just call her Hathaway} had tried to killl herself, but wasn`t that when she was going to marry rhe fireman, Red or Ned or something like that.... and couldn`t go through with it? Maybe memorys playing tricks with me as well, but I didn`t think that was the first episode.... Will have to go and watch that first one on youtube...........

BC, so Carter wasn`t in the first episode then? .... I always thought he had been, as he was the last one to leave of the "originals".... prehaps he joined later in the first series.

Off to watch that utube episode....

EDIT...All those youtube videos seem to contradict each other in which one was first, but i watched the Pilot one { which would have been the 1st} and seem to remeber that one... Mark Greene in the on call room, kept getting woken up ,and having to sober up his worse for weather colleague Dr Ross............its all coming back to me now............

Can any of you remember Carole Hathaway going to marry the fireman? or have i just imagined it all?????

Only 24 hours to go girls............what more could a girl want, 2 hours of one of the best TV shows EVER....., and George Clooney thrown in for good measure.............hope youv`e got your Baileys chillin.....!!

I see that More4 had its highest ever audience figures for the return of George on Thursday..................what an excellent episode it was, and bringing Peter Benton back as well was an added touch.......

I can sleep easier knowing Carter has his kidney ...........Lol.....

I recorded it as well, so may well watch it again before next week!!!!

Yeah we`re sad......... but I love it, don`t quite know how i`m going to fill the void ER will leave....

Didn`t Juliana Margolis look brilliant....she hadn`t aged at all and as for George in his Blue scrubs.....well.......!!!....... just loved the scene at the end with her and George in bed {bitc*}....... when she told him the kidney went to a" Doctor"............. thats what ER does so well.....those poignant moments.......
