I opened one carrier bag and it was full of sand which went all over the place (from the shoes she wore to the beach the other day!!) and I've just slung ALL the clothes down to the wash cos I haven't a clue what is clean or dirty!!! ITs gray and dull here but my house is a beehive of activity! My friend's company has sent her to Nottingham from Philladelphia for a few weeks and she's coming to stay for the weekend, I haven't seen her since New York 8 years ago and we're both really excited! I'm worried about Nottingham mind, she says they eats baked beans with everthing!!! think she's been to some dodgy cafes myself!! lmao She thinks the Nottingham accent is cool - wait until she hears Geordie and yacker - I think I'll be her translator for the weekend!!! lol Any way her visit has spurred us into action-I'm off to risk life and limb in the kids room and my OH has opened the tin of paint we got for the hall 2 weeks ago!! Just wish it wasn't so wet!!
