Thanks to you both, LWH and Magnolia. I couldn't remember if it was Kathy Reichs or not. I hav'nt seen any in this series for a while now. I knew it wasn't Patricia Cornwall, though to me, and it is only my opinion, he writings of Kay Scarpeta, are not as good as they used to be. Last couple of books have been to complicatd to follow.

Once again, many thanks

PS. Never thought to Google. What am I like

About 7/8 years ago, I got into a series of books, the author of which I cannot think of their name. The main character of the books was a female criminal anthopologist, called Temp/Temperance Brennan. She lived/worked in America and Canada. I started these books, as I have said, some years ago, but I havn't seen any new ones for a while now. The author was not Patricia Cornwall, and I am not sure about Kathy Reichs, but she was of the same genre.
I am going soon to a book shop that sells out of print books at £2.99, and I thought if I knew the author, I would look for some.
Many thanks
