Exactly my thoughts Joan...lol, especially that Keith...lol, he would have caused mayhem....

Its just the older I get the more scrapes I seem to get into, but I still don't think it was my fault, there were'nt any signs, men again you see think us women should be mind readers....lol

Can laugh now, I've had my second cup of strong coffee...lol xx

Now I've calmed down Lynda, I can think of lots of things I could have said and done...lol...but at the time I was stumped, and embarrrased but they certainly didn't help.

What a day already....

I had to go deliver something this morning before I came to work...

I drove into town and of course they are digging everything up to put in all the water drains so it's like a bombsite in the middle of town.

I must have missed the sign that said...do not drive down here because if you do you will end up facing a lorry driver who is heading towards you at great speed, blasting his horn

I missed the bit that said there are cones everywhere and there is no way to turn back... because there is a b.....dy great digger behind you.....there is no way you can squeeze through because there are cones all down the side...so of course there I was marooned and in front of me a lorry, behind me a digger and alongside me the CONES.....GET THE PICTURE

So I thought oh well, I'll just sit here until either the lorry backs up or the digger backs up and then I SMILED at the lorry driver...hopefully


DO YOU KNOW WHAT HE DID


Got his flask out and poured himself a cup of tea and LOOKED at me, and when I looked in the mirror the digger driver got off his digger and walked over to the lorry and got in the cab!!!!!

I just sat and waited and had to wait for ten minutes until the digger man got out the lorry and walked back to his digger and backed up.

NOT A WORD WAS SPOKEN....

I am now at work with a cup of strong coffee....
