somerset man I really do not know what to think about it,and Linda are you type 2 ? this is the first time he has been told that they will give any more strips. We are both pensioners how are we supposed to afford the money for the strips.

Dear Margaret

What area are you in?

I can obtain details of the Pohwer service which can help if you need to make a complaint about your treatment. This is a different organisation to PALS service.

Please don't panic and try to stay calm.

It is not cost effective to deny a patient their medicine, when they have COPD and high blood pressure.

Please get back to me.

Best wishes.

Dear Margaret

Please refer to my previous message and contact the Diabetes UK group for help with this problem.

It is not acceptable, medically or otherwise to suddenly stop a patients access to drugs, etc that they have used for long standing conditions.

The other group that can help is ICAS.

This is a service that can help if you have a problem with your GP, etc. They can support you.

They have different offices all over the country to help people wherever they live.

I think this one would cover your area:

South London ICAS
Pohwer,
CAN Mezzaine

32-36 Loman St
LONDON

SE1 0EH

Tel No: 0845 337 3061

Best wishes.
