My husband sister, who he has no contact with through choice, has myself,,husband and his daughter all on her tree,
I contacted GR who said that they would ask her to remove them but nothing has happened and the names are still there,
Iv e-mailed them twice about this, Can GR remove the names themselves?

Yes GR can remove them just state for personal private reasons you want the removed.

I gave access to a few people years ago and where most of them only wanted to know about ancestors, one of them copied everything right up to date and has passed it on to others and put it on other sites. I didn't see the section on "hiding living people" until much later and am now paying for it by finding my family on other sites.

I understand GR can remove names and I have made a request detailing the five names involved. Their reply stated that they have contacted the member and reminded her of the terms and conditions requiring permission from living people before using their names in trees. I am at present awaiting the outcome, as I only contacted them less than a week ago.

Just had an e-mail from GR saying that they have removed the names from her tree,,.
