I think a lot of cartridges these days are "CHIPED" and will not allow you to refill. |

David if your cartridges have a little hole in the top you can refill them. You can buy the refil kits in most places, they come with 4 bottles of ink and a syringe thing to inject the colour into the cartridge. |

I use a Lexmark 6200 all in one and buy my cartidges through Viking. If you open an account NEVER pay the brochure price cos they always discount. The high yield cartidges last for ages. |

My lexmark scanner allows you to top up the cartridges which works out loads cheaper. It can be a bit messy but as long as ya careful its fine. |

I buy compatible ink cartridges for my Lexmark, they work out cheaper, especially if you buy them online, the more you buy the cheaper they are. I usually get four at a time of the black ones. And they last quite a while compared to my old canon, where the cartridges were a similar price but didn't last as long. |

No, i don't need a new one i just thought the prices looked good, but if the ink is so expensive then maybe their not such a good bargain |

Hello, Miss Sylvia:) I can't believe how the price of scanners etc. have come down over the last few years. We paid such a lot for one about 4 years ago and we've just replaced it at around your 75 pounds. It does all the same things. |
