It was about ancient bones being found in a churchyard and being re-interred by the church and community.

Hi Ladies, this is the story & link that Keith originally posted about;

A special ceremony has been held to rebury ancient bones found under a path at a church on the Llŷn Peninsula.

Uggers Report 8 May 2009 14:13

Funny but I feel differently about this to the excavation of the mass war grave - I have no problem with it all. I suppose because they have been disturbed and as that's happened, it only seems right to rebury them with all due reverence

Oh obtuse! lol

I agree with you Uggers, plus the relatives of the war dead will know for sure where their loved ones are at last.

A great uncle of mine was killed in action, but his body was never found and it still affects his children.

They feel a marked grave would bring closure to the family.

I've not long come in and am disappointed it's gone, because it was quite an interesting debate. Perhaps Keith will explain why he deleted, because there was nothing contentious on there when I saw it last.
