happened to the thread for carers support? Cant find it anywhere.

I've just looked now that you have drawn my attention to it. Where has it gone?

The person who started the thread said she was leaving and passed on the birthday thread she had taken over to someone else about a week ago.

You are right. It is gone. Why? We must all bombard GR and tell them what we think of them removing yet another thread which has been a great help and comfort to people who have needed it. Not that 'they' will take any notice. We will just be referred to the rules for use of the boards. I told them last time that they will be losing members if they keep this up. I will tell them again that if they dont want any friendly and supporting threads we will all go to another site where we will not be deleted. I am an assistant administrator of such a site (not sure what my duties are) so will be inviting all friendly people from this site to join it.

You have done it again. Removed a thread which was very supportive for people who needed it. I am referring to the Carers Support thread (cant remember what it was called.) Nobody posted for a couple of days and now it has vanished. WE NEED THAT THREAD. There are times when I am in tears over my husbands Alzheimers and I could read that thread and post on it and feel comforted. NOW IT HAS GONE. Dont you care about your members any more? We will be leaving in droves if you keep up this nonsense. And dont fob us off by saying somebody must have broken the rules for use of the boards. WE ARE HEARTILY SICK AND TIRED OF YOUR BEHAVIOUR. If your system is at fault then FIX IT instead of trying to change the boards all the time and ruining them.

So sorry this thread has gone, please someone start a new one, many of us need the support and advice that the good people on here give us, may l just say thankyou to the peeps that have given me advice.

I have now requested a review of their Big Apology thread :
As I said in a letter to you, nothing has been fixed. YOU ARE STILL DELETING HELPFUL THREADS so how about removing this 'apology' and trying to fix whatever or whoever is removing them, then you can really apologise to us.

As my thread of 19.56 - I am sure that the person that started the thread has not renewed and was deleting her threads.

There have been so many good threads that have disappeared and we NEVER get an explanation from GR.I don't think it is good enough .We are paying into a service that is letting us down .

That thread was started by Hazel who, I think, has not renewed her subscription. She didn't say she was deleting but would it have gone because she has???? If that makes sense!!

I've contacted GR to ask where it is.........

Please can everybody bombard them to let them know how angry we are that the thread has disappeared, and demand a proper explanation. Not that you will get it, but if we demand they might realise how angry we are.
