Little White Dove...it was an amazing programme...its good that its now being shown on School programmes to let other kids see it. When one of able bodied lads wiped the disabled guy's bottom who then told him he would make a great dad, it was wonderful...i think the whole experience enriched all of their lives

Col,
I watched that a couple of years ago, isn't it fantastic.edit could have been last year but seems longer. Just goes to show all teenagers are not as bad as they are painted. What a great bunch of lads.
Being a wheelchair user I found it inspiring.

Years ago, a family with a deaf teenage son lived nearby, when he and the rest of his gang were congregating on the street, they were the quietest group of kids in the world because all his friends could sign, the only sound that came ouy them was laughter. Magic.

Our younger son was at Uni with a severely physically handicapped lad. Several of them took him for nights out, and when his carer was off, took complete care of him.

I have never doubted that the vast majority of youngsters are good and compassionate..............only the bad ones get any publicity usually.

I think it's fantastic that they have seen past the disability to the fun-loving young man who just happens to be in a wheelchair:)))

.....No not a nasty snide comment about the disabled but one of the most inspiring television programmes I have ever seen.
It is a documentary featuring a wheelchair bound 18 year old who travels on holiday to Europe with 6 able bodied teenagers.
The way the 6 lads bond with Dom, take care of him even down to help him using the toilet and showering him is proof that the vast majority of young people are good and compassionate.

I'm not certain if Channel4 plan to repeat it but you can get an idea of what I mean at:
