Might be a good idea to take a note of the originator of threads, then if they are whooshed, you can check with that person.

I personally wish that GR would leave all the threads on for at least 24 hours before whooshing them, so that those of us in other time zones can have a chance to read them before they go.

I sometimes go off to bed in the middle of reading a good 'spat', then, in the morning, attempt to see how it finished up - and it's gone!

jgee do you know what really gets my goat, on the general site there was a really good thread about carers that gave people really good advice and gave people that were looking after loved ones encouragement and it was wooshed WHY ..................................
sorry just wanted to add why is it alright on friends reunited chat you can talk about se* and ***** and it doesn't get wooshed yet we talk about caring and it gets woosheddddddddddd, words fail me.

Happened to me earlier........peeped in and saw one I thought may be interesting........went off.......did some work......came back to follow it........GONE. grrrrrrrrrrrr xx
